4、 Eligibility

 （1）Applicant's comprehensive requirements

1.1 Chinese language students should be aged from 18 to 65, be in good health, with high school diploma or above.

1.2 The undergraduate students should be under 30 years old, healthy and have graduated from high school(Those who have not yet graduated at the time of application must provide proof of pre-graduation, and must obtain a high school diploma before admission).

1.3 Postgraduate students should be under the age of 40, healthy and have obtained a bachelor's degree(Those who have not yet graduated at the time of application must provide proof of pre-graduation, and must obtain a bachelor's degree certificate before admission).

1.4 Doctoral students should be under the age of 45, healthy and have obtained a master's degree（(Those who have not yet graduated at the time of application must provide proof of pre-graduation, and must obtain a master's degree certificate before admission).

（2) Language level requirement

2.1 For majors taught in Chinese, applicants are required to provide HSK4 scores. International students may be exempted from the Chinese proficiency test if the language of instruction for compulsory secondary education (middle and high school) is Chinese.

2.2 Applicants for English-taught majors do not require Chinese proficiency. For non-native English speakers, applicants should provide evidence of their TOEFL/IELTS or other English proficiency.

Postgraduate Program

2）Study plan in China (over 600 words)

3) Diploma of the Most Advanced Studies (Notarized Photocopy)

4）Transcripts of the Most Advanced Studies (Notarized Photocopy)

5）Two Recommendation Letters from professors with telephone number and email address

6）Four passport-size photos

7）Copy of passport

8) Non-criminal certificate

9）Original Physical Examination Record and Blood Test Report

11）HSK examination score report (level 4 or above, program taught in Chinese)

6、 Application Procedure

1) Please send the application materials to the International Student Service System of HAUST：https://haust.at0086.cn/student .We will review the materials. We will then inform you if we require supplementary material. 

2）On successful admission, we will post you the admission notice of Henan University of Science and Technology and JW202 form. To obtain Chinese Visa (X visa for students) you should take all these documents with you and copies of each document. 

Registration time will be notified later. When you report to school please bring the original copy of the above materials.

7、Scholarship

Excellent freshmen can receive the Government Scholarship for Foreign Students in Henan Province in the first academic year, and then continue to apply for the scholarship in each academic year according to the scholarship management measures and the student's study in school.
